Slack Connect
Slack Connect enables you to link multiple Slack workspaces together, e.g. to communicate with partner companies. Sidequest comes with basic support for Slack Connect, enabling you to manage tasks in a shared Slack channel.

File Attachments
In many cases, it's necessary to attach files to a ticket in order to work on it. This may be a form, an approval, a related document or something similar. Luckily, Sidequest enables you to easily share task-related attachments by dropping them into a task thread. We do not impose any limit on the number or size of uploaded files.
Support for Slack Guests
Slack enables you to invite guests to your workspace – either to a single channel only ("Regular Guests") or to multiple channels ("Multi-Channel Guests"). Sidequest happily supports this setup, enabling you to issue tasks for guests, and the other way around.
Just like in Slack, regular guests do not count as billable users in Sidequest.
Task Assignments
In Sidequest, you can easily work on tasks together as a team. However, you may still want to assign a task to a person who is currently in charge – for example when it comes to handling tickets in a helpdesk.
That's why Sidequest supports assignments. When a task is received in a channel, it can be assigned to any channel member, who will then be tagged accordingly. Finally, the "Who is doing what?" question has been answered.
Task-Based Conversations
Slack is a communication tool, so it only makes sense to discuss your tasks and tickets right there. To keep all your conversations in order, Sidequest leverages Slack threads. Each task and ticket has a thread of its own, which is accessible to all participating parties, e.g. the requester and recipient. Messages sent to this thread can be accessed by everybody involved, and you can make use of all the Slack features you enjoy, like mentioning, emoji reactions and attachments.
